Dr. Fauvre was raised in Pasadena, California and attended Pasadena High School, then Stanford University.

With his bachelor’s degree in biology, he then attended medical school at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.

After completing his internship at the Keck School of Medicine, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Riverside General Hospital (now Riverside University Medical Center). He then completed a fellowship in cardiology at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

In 1975, he discovered Ojai and put down roots in this beautiful region with his family, opening a practice in town.

Dr. Fauvre has a passion for participating in and sponsoring footraces. Every year for more than 25 years, he has sponsored two charity runs, the first being the American Heart Association 5K and 10K Run/Walk, aptly named “Ojai's Heart and Sole.” The second charity run is the October Ojai Classic, a 5K and 10K run/walk he has sponsored since 2000.

Dr. Fauvre also dedicates his time to not just one but two Rotary Clubs, organizations that value “service over self.”

As our Medical Director, Dr. Fauvre completes a thorough examination of every student to ensure they are able to complete every step of the Narconon drug rehabilitation program. As needed, he works with the students to bring their health up to the point that they are able to fully participate in the program.
