We Celebrate 50 Years of
Healing Addicted Lives

On February 19, 2016, the international Narconon network took a moment to celebrate fifty years of saving lives. Starting from a single rehab center in Los Angeles, the Narconon network now comprises more than forty centers on six continents.

The Narconon program not only addresses the debilitating effects of drug abuse on the mind and body, but also resolves why a person turned to drugs in the first place. As a result, tens of thousands have graduated from the Narconon program into new lives free from drug use.

The Narconon program is based on the discoveries and writings of L. Ron Hubbard, who is also the Founder of the Scientology religion. However, Narconon is non-religious and a person does not become a Scientologist by doing the program.

Mr. Hubbard began his research into drug abuse in the 1960s. The resulting discoveries provided the means by which individuals could become free of addiction.

A basic premise of the Narconon program is that for a person to remain 100% drug-free he must have the knowledge and skills to confront and deal with challenges in his life. The Narconon program has documented results obtained in five decades of experience in helping thousands live drug-free lives.

Gaining the Skills to Maintain Sobriety

Gaining the life skills to manage one’s own sobriety requires improving one’s understanding of oneself and one’s relationships and learning how problems can be resolved. An individual must also have gained the ability to face others without backing off or hiding and must have the skills to use communication for both small achievements and large goals. Developing these exact skills is a key part of the Narconon drug rehabilitation program.

Expansion Around the World

Once the first Narconon center opened its doors, news about this new type of addiction recovery program traveled quickly around the world. From America, the Narconon program spread to Italy, Russia, Canada and Australia. A new center was opened a few years ago in Taiwan and another in Turkey. Every center offers the same program that has proven so successful.

A recent worldwide program of expansion has resulted in beautiful new Narconon centers in Denmark, England, Mexico and, in the U.S., in Florida and Ojai, California. Around the world, there is a desperate and growing demand for a real solution to addiction — one that does not rely on the use of substitute drugs like methadone or buprenorphine. These new centers respond to that need.

Narconon Ojai — the Jewel of the Narconon Network

About a hundred miles north of Los Angeles lies Ojai — close enough to the entertainment industry for celebrity weekend homes. Far enough that the pressures of that industry fade away. Here, a unique Narconon rehabilitation facility recently opened, designed from the ground up for the elite of artists, performers, athletes, executives and their families. Here, privacy is paramount. Those who are accustomed to the best will find themselves totally at home.

The program is the same here as in every other Narconon center. It’s the program that helps each person leave addiction behind in favor of a new, strong and sober life. We are here for you and your family. If you or someone you care about needs a new, sober life, contact us and let us explain just how we can help. We’re looking forward to hearing from you.
