Saved My Life
Narconon Graduate
Liberty B.
Before I came to Narconon, I was a mess. I was using opiates. I started out swallowing the pills and then got to where I was snorting them — every day, all day. I would wake up wanting to use. I would, kept telling myself this would be the last time, every day.
I lost my kids, I lost my family, but mostly and most importantly, I lost myself.
After I came to Narconon, this place got me off the drug — I definitely needed help because I couldn't do it on my own. And this place saved my life — literally, saved my life.
I don't have that little voice in the back of my head saying, "Hey, you're going to use again." I don't have that anymore. I'm able to live a life and I was not able to do that.
This place doesn't only teach you how to get off drugs, I mean it does teach you how to live life again.
And I am thankful, I am happy and I can be free and live life and enjoy life. I have my kids, I have my family and I have myself.
