Narconon Ojai Hosted Its 3rd Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament on October 28th 2023

On October 28, 2023 Narconon Ojai celebrated Red Ribbon Week by hosting its 3rd Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament at the Ojai Valley Inn Spa and resort.

In attendance, as speakers and players in the event, was Dan Schnieder, the man behind the critically acclaimed Netflix docuseries The Pharmacist. Dan spoke about the dangers of drugs and how no drug tried once is safe anymore because of fentanyl exposure.

Also in attendance and keynote speaker was Ventura County Sheriff James Fryhoff.

Sheriff Fryhoff spoke about the importance of drug education with our youth. Said Sheriff Fryhoff, “Anyone who is willing to help people get down a better path I want to align myself with. I’m so thankful to have Narconon here in the community.”

Proceeds from the event were directed to saving future generations in our community from the trap of addiction. Community leader and CEO of the Ojai Business Chamber of Commerce, Jamie Fleming, was presented with a check for $2,500 by Narconon Ojai Executive Director Fabian Padro. This donation is for the Ojai Youth Foundation to go towards drug education programs in the Ojai school system.

“We are just blessed in this valley to have Narconon right here in our backyard. They have been so supportive of our community needs when it comes to drug rehabilitation and education.”
