After Darkness There Is Light and I Am Ready to Shine Bright!
I originally felt I didn’t need rehab, but after doing some self-evaluating, I saw that this program could offer nothing but positive results and that it would give me a new outlook on my overall health and mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.
As I went through the program, I started seeing the many benefits that it had for me.
The Withdrawal step at Narconon Ojai was a very calming experience. It allowed me to see that I was taking the right steps towards making myself a better person and that I shouldn’t be worried about things. I could see how I could reach my goals by doing this program.
The program started to inspire me to become a better planner so that I could remain focused and reach every single goal that I set for myself and the relationships with those who care about me.
The Objective processes were one of the most interesting processes that I have ever been engaged in. The processes were very unique methods and opened up the doors for me to challenge myself mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. I haven’t been asked to overcome such a task since I was in college. I’m glad that I was able to refine some of my individual qualities that have been screaming to reappear into the forefront of my life. I now feel that I have regained my abilities to make intelligent and confident decisions which had been obstructed along the way.
With the Life Skills Courses offered at Narconon Ojai, I can say that I gained the most knowledge and wisdom about how to treat myself and how to give others an easier and better experience when being around me. Writing up my transgressions in life gave me an opportunity to make the right decisions once again. It gave me so much information of who I am and what changes needed to be made. I feel like I have all the tools I need to live a sober life with out resorting to drugs that remove you from the present.

In the Changing Conditions In Life Course, I learned the steps to help maintain control over my conditions in life. I now know how to have discipline in my living situations and when to change them when necessary, and to accommodate my morals and values. I feel like whenever life throws me a curve-ball, I now have the power to see it and take a home-run swing.
I am now equipped and ready for a fresh character build of myself with a new set of morals and ethics as a foundation of which to build upon. After DARKNESS, THERE IS LIGHT, and I am ready to Shine Bright!
